1、 Proactively cleaning the control system defects
During the process of using self-cleaning filters, users may find that the frequent activation of self-cleaning filters leads to an increase in cleaning water volume and a reduction in filter lifespan. This problem is caused by defects in the filter's self-control system or parameter settings. The main issue here is the setting of the cleaning differential pressure and cleaning time for the differential pressure control system. The frequent activation of the filter cleaning system may be solved by setting a larger differential pressure scale or adjusting the cleaning time of the control system.
2、 The self-cleaning filter shows water leakage
The leakage problem of self-cleaning filters usually occurs in the transmission shaft part of the filter (the leakage of the cylinder and flange welding part is not within this scale). There are two fundamental reasons for this problem. Firstly, the raw material or specifications of the transmission shaft sealing ring do not meet the requirements, so replacing the qualified sealing ring is sufficient. The second issue is that the sealing ring may wear out after prolonged operation, causing leakage between the transmission shaft and the filter body due to inadequate sealing. In this case, replacing the corresponding specification of the sealing ring can solve the problem.
3、 Problem with the active drain valve of the self-cleaning filter
After a long period of use, self-cleaning filters may exhibit active drain valve problems. Specifically, during the active cleaning of the filter, the drain valve does not move or cannot be opened and always cannot be closed. Manufacturers of self-cleaning filters that exhibit this problem usually use domestically produced solenoid valves as drain valves. This type of solenoid valve is pilot operated, first flipping open the first guide hole by the solenoid, and then relying on the pressure of water in the system to break through the barrier and open the valve. Due to the presence of many impurities in the wastewater, it is very easy to block the pilot hole, resulting in the electromagnetic valve not acting or not being tightly closed after opening. So when choosing a self-cleaning filter, we should pay attention to the raw material issues of some valves, which can prevent this situation from happening. Moreover, regular maintenance of the equipment can also reduce the possibility of problems occurring.
